Celebratory launch of N2KH Email Preservation Course

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) and The National Archives (UK) invite members of the archives and digital preservation communities to join them on 29th June for a celebratory launch of the Novice to Know-How Email Preservation course. The online training is the latest in the digital preservation learning pathway “Novice to Know-How” (N2KH) and will enable information professionals to gain both knowledge and practical experience of how to preserve email.
Call for Applicants: DPC Grant for ASA 2023 National Conference in Melbourne

The DPC is pleased to offer a Career Development Fund grant for the hybrid 2023 Australian Society of Archivists (ASA) Rising to our Challenges Conference, taking place 4 - 7 September in Melbourne, Australia.
This grant will cover 100% of conference registration as well as provide a contribution towards travel for those attending in person. Applications are welcomed from DPC members until the grant application deadline of 7:00 UTC on 30th May.

The Digital Preservation Coalition welcomes the Irish Traditional Music Archive as its newest member

The Irish Traditional Music Archive / Taisce Cheol Dúchais Éireann (ITMA) has joined the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) this month, becoming the Coalition’s newest Associate Member.
Based in Dublin, ITMA is the national public archive and resource centre for Irish traditional music, song and dance, with a mission to be the globally recognised specialist advisory agency to advance appreciation, knowledge, and the practice of Irish traditional music. ITMA was born into the digital age and digitisation has been a core activity since inception. ITMA holds born-digital collections through both field recording and donations and has also amassed large volumes of digital surrogates from over 30 years of digitisation work carried out on analogue audio, audio-visual, photograph and print collections.
Call for Applicants: DPC Grant for ARA 2023 Conference in Belfast

The DPC is pleased to offer a Career Development Fund grant for the 2023 Annual Conference of the Archives and Records Association (#ARA2023), taking place from 30th August to 1st September in Belfast, UK.
This grant will cover 100% of the Full Conference registration fees including two nights' accommodation. Applications are welcomed from DPC Members until the application deadline of 07:00 UTC on 23rd May 2023.
Sustaining Digital Heritage Training Programme: Call for Learning Partners

ICCROM, AVP and the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision are excited to invite cultural heritage organisations to join the learning community of the Sustaining Digital Heritage programme.
The programme will help cultural heritage professionals and their organisations develop capacity for managing digital heritage through online training, projects with mentoring and the development of case studies.
