We're excited to announce a special hybrid edition of #DPConnect, hosted by two of our DPC Members in Dublin. Unlike our usual online-only format, this month you can join either in person or online! Leona Fearon (National Library of Ireland) and Leanne Harrington (Diageo) will welcome you at Dublin's Europe House!

#DPConnect is your space to drop in and discuss all things digital preservation. These gatherings are short and informal (30 minutes max), with no agenda and no themes. Simply come and talk about what you're working on, share work problems and challenges, or just say hello to fellow digital preservation enthusiasts.

In-Person Attendance

If you're planning to attend in person at Europe House in Dublin, please note:

• If attending in person, you are welcome to join from 1:00 PM UTC (2:00 PM Irish Time)

• Please email Leona Fearon at lfearon@nli.ie to confirm your attendance

• EU House does not permit food or drink in the cinema room where the event will be held

Online Attendance

Can't make it to Dublin? No problem! The online portion will begin at 2:00 PM UTC (3:00 PM Irish Time).

About #DPConnect

#DPConnect usually takes place at 2pm UTC on the second Thursday of each month as an online space to connect with fellow digital preservation professionals. The August edition is special as we're offering both in-person and online options to accommodate more participants.
